Breast Cancer Fundraiser Announcement!

Hello,

October is here and the cool down has started in Atlanta, love it. October, as many of you know, is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Supporting breast cancer research means a lot to me. My mother passed away in 2014 from breast cancer. In addition, I have lost a friend to breast cancer and my maternal grandmother was diagnosed with it as well. We all have stories about how this cancer has affected the ones we love so dearly. I am so happy to announce that I am going to donate 10% of our gross sales this weekend, Friday, 10/22 – Sunday, 10/24 to the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition. The Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition was founded over 25 years ago by  three Breast Cancer survivors, since then, the organization has been a leader in state and national legislative advocacy efforts. Their mission is to educate, advocate and serve as Georgia's voice to end Breast Cancer.  To learn more about their mission and accomplishments, visit https://www.gabcc.org/about-us. .

One funny thing to my outfit picks for this month, I am a redhead and never ever wear pink!! We all know that is the signature color for breast cancer. I don’t own anything pink (okay, maybe a pink tennis skirt), but you’ll see one outfit with pink accents – hot pink shoes and a gorgeous multi color handbag and I did find a pink sweater in a color that is flattering to most skin types! YAY – maybe I can wear some pink after all. 😉
