“Best of” really means a lot to a small business. We don’t have big marketing budgets or advertising departments to promote what we do and instead must rely a on word of mouth and social media. Online reviews are dicey because usually only angry people who want to vent but don’t want to meet face-to-face to work out a problem write them. Satisfied and happy customers rarely write reviews because they’re, well, happy.
But for readers to take time out to click on a link and vote for businesses all over town that they feel are “the best of” is a huge compliment. That takes time and energy and a willingness to support local business. A small business owner for 28 years, I am truly grateful to even be nominated. To win is icing on the cake!
Finders Keepers Furnishings just won “Best Furniture Consignment Store” in Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine. Congratulations to Betsy Johns and her wonderful staff who work tirelessly every day making the store attractively full of wonderful home décor and furniture.
Two years ago this week, we moved from our 4200 square foot building to Twin Oaks Shopping Center’s 9000 square foot space where the Salvation Army used to be. This move, though exhausting and overwhelming immediately proved to be the right move for Finders Keepers. We love the space and you love the space. Everyone is well, happy!
The “HOME” sign on the back wall came off the Home Depot Store on Lawrenceville Hwy. and was brought to us by a wonderful consignor about the time we moved. Perfect! Home Depot is one of Atlanta’s home-grown businesses and so are we.
Thank you for your support of Finders Keepers Furnishings! We appreciate your social media support, your word of mouth support and your vote. We will continue to strive to meet your expectations and work every day to truly be the “best of”.
